Your shame spots

Oh little one, oh little one
where are your shame spots?
let me come find them, hold them and love them,
let me show you how unreal they are, poofs of dust, suddenly nothing there,
Freedom from the spots you were hiding, freedom from your hiding.
Shame, oh shame, how can you love that which you refuse to see?
Blindfolded from your homecoming.

oh little one, oh little one
why so mean to yourself?
so afraid to be alone, alone with the big bad in the corner,
so harsh, so critical, so judgmental, so not-right,
nothing to be done ever enough

oh little one, oh little one
can you give yourself the rest you want?
the pleasure doesn't need to be deserved, it's in every breathe,
oh little one, oh little one
can you give yourself rest?

maybe you'll find, when you're all alone,
that it's not so scary after all;
maybe you'll find, when you're all alone,
that the thing you were afraid of doesn't really exist,
like the imagined monster behind the curtains
only made you avert the curtains, never able to walk through the space in peace,
until you finally walked to those curtains scared and brave, and flung them aside yourself
to see that there was no thing at all.
you'll only know when you go there,
you'll only know when you go there.

oh little one, oh little one
i trust you so much
there is nothing to be afraid of,
your inner compass is there
but when you're really there,
you won’t even need it.
no thoughts, a river meandering instead,
curiosity and wonder abounds, no walls, no control, no manipulation, no cutoffs.

Freedom, little one, are you ready to claim your freedom?
I know it's scary to go out there, curled up in this small room,
but wait till you see how far you can fly and how beautiful you are!
nothing to be afraid of, the unknown - it can be an adventure,
falling can be fun too!

that churn in your stomach, intelligence speaking,
reminding you when to release and let flow,
it's only life force moving,
rivers don't care for the walls, they push and flow over,
always flowing and moving,
always flowing and moving.

keep moving through he says, keep moving through them:
power, openness, freedom, need, gratitude and surrender -
pretty soon she feels her presence from the inside and the outside,

pretty soon there is nothing.
