How to be here now

I’m here for me, it’s always been about me
Even the love business
It’s been so I won’t leave the love in the doing;
It’s never been about you.
Making you build a love business, ensuring it,
Is just me not seeing what’s already here
I am it

We try to change others so we won’t feel wrong where we are

It’s because I’m not sure, without faith, of where I am and what I stand for
My fear of you changing me has me leaving myself already

Why am I here?
I’m here for my relationship with you god
To work on my relationship with you
To return to this table, this place inside, the most intimate of meetings,
I lost sight of you in the Buddha’s pictures, paintings and statues,
That thing outside, over there
I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry

Why am I here?
I’m here to go to the root of my protecting and fear,
To the root of my own heart closing
…my fear of dying
I’m here to allow myself to die  
To let it pass through me

Why am I here?
To let go of the Idea of living, to let go of the Idea of dying
Even that thought, that want, puts living and dying over there
Outside of me

Now I feel it
Every thought, every wanting, every reaching for that thing Over There
Even if it’s love and spirituality and awakening
Just moves It/me away
